40th ANNIVERSARY

INVITATION TO PAST AND PRESENT MEMBERS OF:
THE FOUR WHEEL DRIVE CLUB OF WA.

SATURDAY 1st OCTOBER TO MONDAY 3rd OCTOBER 2011

DOWERIN FIELD DAY SITE (145km east of Perth).
Arriving Saturday Morning at the Dowerin field day site, all vehicles must be registered at the gate upon arrival, even if you are not camping.
You will be given a welcome pack with information about the weekend activities, and goodies supplied by our sponsors.

Entry into the Field Day Site on Saturday morning is via Stewart Street (the main Street) then right into Fraser Street.

Of course no 4wd outing would be complete without a happy hour (if each family could supply a small plate of nibblies to share it would be appreciated) this is to happen in the RAM Shed at 4:30pm. Please bring your own seats and drinks.

Saturday Night Meal – Buffet Supplied by the Club and prepared by the Dowerin P&C Association with assorted casserole dishes and deserts to follow. All you need to bring to the table is your favourite drinks (No Corkage charges here) and glasses to drink from.
Everything else is supplied for this meal.

During the evening there will be short speeches and our major raffle sponsored by Tyrepower Morley and Coopers Tyres (we have only 1000 tickets for sale, so hopefully there will be very few to sell on the weekend) will be drawn with prizes as follows:

1st Prize Coopers Tyres to the Value of $1500.00
2nd Prize Recovery Kit to the Value of $170.00
3rd Prize Air Compressor to the Value of $132.00
4th Prize Snatch Strap to the Value of $90.00
 

After the short formal part of the evening, the DJ will be playing music that will have everyone up on their feet dancing and enjoying the music. We will all through the evening be drawing lucky numbers for the prizes donated by our sponsors.

Everyone will need to provide your own meals for Breakfast and Lunches, we assume because we are camping that everyone will have their own utensils etc for these occasions.

We are still working on the Sunday programme.
For the evening meal on Sunday the Club will provide BBQ packs and Buns, we will have a couple of Barbeques ready for people to cook the meat and supply their own salads etc. for the evening.

The area for this is in front of one of the clubrooms with a large patio and lawn area for us to use, we are also able to have the use of the kitchen area in the clubroom and have the urn going for hot drinks and the fridges for our use.

Camping is at the Dowerin Field day site and all campsite are powered sites.
ALTERNATE ACCOMMODATION IS AVAILABLE IN DOWERIN if you are not camping.
